Abstract

A polyolefin is cross-linked by heating in admixture with one or more peroxides of general formula <FORM:1059403/C3/1> wherein A, A1 and A11 are -CH2-CH2-, -CH=CH-, or -C­C-, R is tertiary alkyl and R1 is C1 to C3 alkyl. Conventional ingredients, e.g. fillers such as carbon black, graphite, silica, silicates, carbonates and phosphates, also may be present.
