Plug couplings. - The earthing-pin 1 of a plug-and-socket coupling is formed with a plate 2 at one end and is passed through a hole in the insulating carrier-plate 3 of the plug. A second plate or bridge 4, adapted to clamp the metallic sheathing and earthing-wire of the cable 6 against the plate 2, is secured by screws 5, which pass also through the carrier-plate and the plate 2, and thus serve to secure the earthing-pin to the carrier-plate.
