Strainers.-A strainer for use in pouring liquids from cooking-vessels, while leaving the solid contents behind, comprises a perforated plate 1 attachable to the vessel by spring clips 4 and having a retaining-hood 3. When the vessel has a spout, the perforations are formed opposite the opening, but when fitted to a spoutless vessel the strainer is perforated in the lower part of the hood. In this case, a spout may be formed on the strainer.
