Abstract
10,630. Battersby, J. T. May 6. Rollers and roller heads.-The back and middle rollers of slubbing, intermediate, and roving frames, mules, ring frames, &c., are both driven by a wheel which is driven from the front roller by change-wheels G, H, I, and the wheel k, whereby finer changes of draft are rendered possible, and the passing forward of cut yarn or untwisted roving is avoided when making changes.
