Hinges readily separable about hinge pin.-A fitting for the attachment of side-cars to motorcycles comprises (i) a clip 5 attached to the cycle frame, and having an outstanding lug 6 carrying a screw-bolt 7 with a locking-plate 8 attached to its head, and (ii) a member 2 attached to the side-car and having a cup-shaped head 3 with a slot 4 adapted to engage the screwbolt 7. The locking-plate 8 on the bolt-head screws down into the recess 9 in the member 2, and is retained securely in position by a screw 12 in the cup plate 3 which engages a recess 13 in the locking-plate. In an alternative construction, the screw 7 may be in the form of a threaded stud fixed in the lug 6 and the locking-plate may be mounted rotatably thereon and be held in engagement with the cup 9 by means of a nut.
