7323. Jamieson, W. M. June 8, 1912, [Convention date]. Piston valves.-A steam-valve, of the kind comprising a hollow ported cylindrical part F having an upper flanged part H adapted to seat at I at the top of the valve opening, is arranged to be raised and lowered between inner and outer walls C, C', as shown, which form a recess deeper than the part F. The upper valve part H is upwardly and inwardly bevelled, and the seating I is downwardly bevelled, as shown.
