Closure members, loose-ball; spindles.-In a valve of the kind comprising a loose rubber &c. ball 20 pressed into engagement with a perforated seating 15, the seating is formed integral with the valve casing 10. The valve stem 22 is formed with a flange 24 which makes contact with the lower part of the recess 18 and prevents undue pressure on the ball. The stem 22 is formed at the bottom as a cup-shaped presser 23.
