5929. Andersen, A. March 11, 1912, [Convention date]. Hand pumps.-Oil is ejected from a lubricating- can by a pump located beneath the floor 3, which is inclined towards an opening 4 leading to the pump cylinder 5. The pump has two spring- pressed pistons 7, 11. The piston 7 is operated by a push-button 9 to force oil, that has entered by the opening 4, to the spout 15, and the piston 11 follows the piston 7 until stopped by a collar 13 on its stem 12 ; in this position the piston 11 closes the opening 4 until it is moved back by the return stroke of the piston 7.
