Abstract

5876. Cowdroy, F. F. March 19, 1912, [Convention date]. Roller-blinds, rollers for; curtain poles; brackets, adjusting and securing.-In a combined windowblind and curtain-pole fitting, the horizontallyadjustable blind-roller carrier and curtain-pole brackets are vertically adjustable by means of metal rods sliding through spring fasteners. The vertically-adjustable rods D slide through spring fasteners F, and are widened out at their upper ends into clips E which engage T-shaped guides C secured to the window frames B, and have slots S for the curtain-pole brackets T. The blind roller is carried in horizontally-adjustable clips N on the cross-rods G, which are extensible by means of the flanges J, slots K, and a clamping-screw L to take varying widths of blind rollers.
