3059. Duverger, L. March 12,1912, [Convention date]. Valves, arrangement of.-A piston valve for pumps, operated by the fluid pressure, is shown in Fig. 1. It consists of two dished pistons i, j, connected by a rod k and working in a liner e. It controls the admission of fluid to the passages c, d leading to the two ends of the pump cylinder. A piston valve to control the delivery passages of the pump, and comprising three pistons i<1>, j<1>, ill, is shown in Fig. 2. The two pistons i<1>, i<11> are provided with dished ends as before. It is intended that this valve shall also work under the influence of the fluid pressures in the pump cylinder.
