515. Burgess, W. E. Jan. 8. Differential or balance gearing.-The driving- disk A has slots carrying metal halls C engaging either hall races D in the driven disk B or a leather; vulcanized fibre, " Ferods," or similar covering upon the disks B. The parts are pressed into frictional driving relation by a spring E or by a spring pressing auxiliary disks against the disks B.
