Abstract

23,560. Hunter, R. M. Oct. 15. Nozzles for producing whirling sprays. - A spraying - nozzle comprises an internallyconed portion 8, Fig. 2, screwing into a body portion 2 the interior diameter of which is gradually enlarged as shown. Within the body 8 is a tapering screw portion 13, the pitch of which may increase towards the small end. The part 8 terminates in a fine orifice 10. The end wall of the spiral plate portion 13 is made thin to permit the spiral columns of liquid immediately to unite.
