Abstract

23,406. Kops, D. Oct. 14. Corsets.-The corset is provided with skirt extensions and hose-supporters e, e<1>, e<2>. The skirts are divided on each half, as shown, by the overlapping edges 5, 6, and the bottom edges are overlapped and sewn to hose-supporter members e<3>, which are sewn together and to hose-supporters e<1>. Elastic tension members f are disposed on the inside of the corset, and are sewn along one end at 7 to the hip sections, and at the front along 9 at and below the ends of the front steels and about the level of a hook device k. In the modification shown in Fig. 5, the front end of the tension member is forked at f<2>, f<3>.
