Abstract

138,294. Kops, D. Oct. 1, 1919. Corsets.-The front steels 65, 66 are directly attached to the body of the corset only at their upper parts, down to the line 63. From this point the steels are laced to strap members 70 preferably of elastic material, which extend over a portion of the waist line to adjacent the hips of the wearer. This lacing serves to adjust the garment to the wearer, the usual lacing devices being dispensed with and the two halves of the corset connected by a strip 12 of elastic or other material. The lacing also secures the skirt members 80, which also have a hook 81 co-operating with eyelets 83.
