Abstract

14,737. Kops, D. June 24. Corsets of the kind described in Specification 7799/09 are provided with fabric parts a<1>, b<1> extending appreciably below the steels, and gores c<1>, d<1>, which extend appreciably below the boning. Long skirt parts e, f and tapering inclined straps h, i are provided. Elastic straps k, l, which may be wholly elastic or only elastic in their middle, are provided below the boning and front steels. The straps are tapering, and preferably longer along their upper edge, and are attached to the corset body at one end at 9 and at the other end to fabric parts k<1>, l<1> sewn at 8 to the fabric parts a<1>, b<1> below the steels; these parts are joined together by fastenings 7, the rivets of which unite them to the parts k<1>, l<1>.
