Axial-flow type; plant.-A turbine of the kind described in Specification 9054/11, comprising a single ring of moving blades E, and a ring of fixed reaction blades F, and widelyspaced nozzles D, is provided with a gas inlet chamber C of the kind described in Specification 24,041/11. Modifications are described in which the turbine is mounted on the same shaft as various types of internal-combustion engines and is driven by the exhaust therefrom.
