Compression engines; cylinders, pipes for and arrangement of igniters in; exhaust-silencers.- In a revolving-cylinder engine, an exhaust valve 15 is mounted in the cylinder head and inclined in an opposite direction to that of rotation. An outlet pipe 14, which is secured to the cylinder by a screwed cap 18, discharges into a perforated silencer constructed as shown in Fig. 2. An igniter is located at 16.
