Folding paper.-A web of paper A intended to be folded transversely into pamphlets or the like is cut into sets of sheets of gradually decreasing size by unequally spaced cutting-blades 12, 13, 14, 15 on a cutting-cylinder 7. The sheets, after being collected by a cylinder 16, are forwarded to a sloping stop 19 which centralizes the sheets, so that when folded by means such as a reciprocating blade 21, the edges are even and require no trimming.
