Fixed sieves.-A flour-sifter for domestic use comprises a receptacle 10 divided into two chambers by a sifting -screen 11, and an agitator 14, 15 arranged on both sides of the screen. The arms 14, 15 and crank 17 are formed from a single piece of wire. By this arrangement, the flour can be sifted backwards and forwards by reversing the containing - cylinder 10 after each operation. A detachable cover 13 is provided.
