Spring surfaces.-In order to distribute more uniformly over its area the resilience of a seat formed of woven wire bent down at the edges. prong-shaped members A of springy wire are thrust into the fabric of the seat so that the ends are left projecting. The prong-members may be of the form shown, the hooks C engaging the mesh, and the parts B, which may be connected by links E, projecting.
