Aerial machines without aerostats; planes, arrangement and construction of; propelling.- In propelling means of the type described in Specifications 4566/09, [Class 114, Ships &c., Propelling &c.], 10,703/11, and 5966/12, guide blades are provided for preventing rotation of the fluid. The fan c, Fig. 1, rotates within a casing a, b, so as to draw fluid in axially and force it radially against the deflecting surface a, which discharges it axially. The fan blades c<2>, Figs. 1 and 2, discharge the fluid against the guide blades g, which have their inner edges curved in the opposite direction to that of the rotaton of the fan.
