13,665. Quisling, R. H. June 13, 1911, [Convention date]. Projectile fuses.- Relates to time fuses provided with alternate adjustable rings such as shown at I, III. coupled to rotate together above and below a third intermediate ring II. According to the invention, this intermediate ring, instead of being wholly fixed as is usual, is constructed in two concentric parts, the inner one only of which is fixed while the outer one a is free to rotate and serves to couple the adjustable rings together. The groove d of the inner ring may be empty or filled with fuse composition; in the latter case, a passage b communicates with the atmosphere by a hole c and, by another hole, with the groove d to lead away the gases of combustion.
