Heating water. - An upper closed tank e forms a hot-water reservoir and communicates by conduits h, i with a lower smaller closed vessel a, a valve j being fitted on the conduit i. Heat is applied to the lower vessel and hot water circulates through the pipes h, i and also through the pipe l to the domestic hot-water service. The hottest water can be drawn off when required by closing the valve i and opening a tap upon the pipe m.
