Abstract

184,658. Dyer, J. H. July 11, 1921. Heating water.-A tank or cistern particularly for use above domestic baths for supplying hot water is provided with a flange 2 projecting below the bottom of the tank in which T-pieces 3 and 4 are fitted. Pipes 8, 12, 13 conduct cold water to the tank, cold water is drawn off from pipe 10, and hot water from pipes 15, 17, 18. The cold-water pipe 13 is jacketed to reduce its cooling action on the hot water in the tank. The usual pipes to the boiler are shown at 6, 7.
