7687. Lederer, L. March 29. Threads, treating with liquids.-Aqueous gelatinous solutions of cellulose acetate are prepared by acetylizing cellulose &c. with acetic anhydride and sulphuric acid, and subjecting the product to the action of water for more than a day. The solutions may also be used to impregnate and coat threads. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 20,977/11, and 21,376/12, [both in Class 2 (ii), Cellulose: &c.].
