A razor of the type in which the blade can be set at an angle to the handle has lugs f on the comb-plater g pivoted to brackets d on a bar b fixed to the handle a. Inclined surfaces h on the brackets or lugs limit the movement of the comb-plate. The comb-plate carries headed studs j which engage holes in the blade and keyhole slots k in the cover or clamping-plate l. The engaging parts of the plate and studs may be bevelled so as to have a wedging action as the plate is slid to clamp the blade.
