Abstract
29,381. HarlÚ et Cie. Dec. 30, 1910, [Convention date]. Aspirating-apparatus, ejector; nozzles; regulating.-Apparatus for entraining any fluid by a jet of gas or vapour consists of two disks, at the centre of which the inducing-fluid is introduced. The disks diverge at an angle such that the jet of inducing-fluid fills the space between them, and the induced fluid enters through openings in the diverging portions of the disks. The disks 12, 13 converge at their central portion to a narrow passage 4 from which the diverging space 5 begins. The inlets 6 for the induced fluid are formed as a series of narrow concentric circles. The mixed induced and inducing fluids are received in an annular collector 10. The distance between the disks 12, 13 can be adjusted by a screw 15 attached to the disk 12 and a nut 14.
