Pivot adjustments. - In joints of the kind mounted upon a spindle carried by the screen and extending across the dash-board, the locking is effected by forcing grooved clamping - blocks o into engagement with a grooved collar n fixed to the spindle m, or with a grooved portion of the spindle, by means of an operating-screw p. The clamps and screw are carried by a casing r fixed to the dash by a flange s, and provided with side plates secured by screws u which also serve to prevent rotation of the clamps. The rotation of the screw p may be limited by means of a screw v adapted to engage a projection on the lug q of the casing r.
