Covers.-An axle - box for railway wagons, having a sliding grease drawer B supported on a plate A, is provided with a lid I sliding vertically in dovetail grooves H in the front wall of the axle-box. A screwed stud K has an enlarged tapered end M engaging a recess in the lower edge of the drawer B to hold both the lid and the drawer rigidly in position.
