Or the sashes may be left standing as shown, after the hood is folded, in order to provide a partly-closed vehicle. The space between the top of the screen p and the hood may be filled in by a flap hinged to the hood. The weight of the screen is balanced by springs x<1> having rollers which bear on the bottom of the screen, suitable guides being provided.
