Metallic spring bodies and cores.--Steel sections H, having studded aluminium treads T, have central projections F which rest on wire ropes A and end brackets C<1> through which passes a central wire rope D. The ropes A rest on projections B on the rim, and the rope D is pulled towards the rim by eye - bolts E. Flexible side rings J, riveted to the rim, are provided between the sections and the rim.
