Junction-pieces; joints for concentric pipes.- Relates to a superheater element formed of three tubes arranged one within the other, and consists in a junction-piece which closes the annular space between the outer tubes and places the annular space in communication with the innermost tube. The junction-piece a is formed with a diametrical hollow web e opening at both ends into the annular space between the tubes b, c and communicating through a projection f with the tube d. The steam flows between the tubes b, c and through the tube d. The furnace, gases flow outside the tubes and between the tubes c, d. The element shown is arranged vertically. In an horizontally arranged element, in order to distribute the furnace gases equally in the space between the tubes c, d, the tube d is disposed nearer to the top than to the bottom of the tube c.
