Abstract

17,448. Maslin, E. Aug. 1. Aerated sprayers. - Spray-producing apparatus containing no liquid valves comprises three tubes, the inner one acting as an airpump, the middle one as air - vessel, and the outer one as liquid-vessel. Spraying-nozzles for aerated spray and for liquid spray are fitted. Fig. 1 is a sectional elevation of the apparatus. The inner tube 0 is fitted with a piston Q for compressing air and forcing it through the valve N into the air-vessel P. A tube H leads from the vessel P to the liquid-vessel T, and a tube L also leads to the spraying-nozzle E. A liquid-pipe M leads from the liquid-vessel to this nozzle. A liquid-nozzle C is fitted, the tube S of which extends to the bottom of the chamber T.
