Tripod mounts for machine guns. - Consists in an arrangement in which a toothed disk B, to which the front legs E are jointed, the rear leg A and the support C of the upper carriage D are 'independently rotatable about a common axis x, for adjustment of the firing-height and elevation of the gun. The leg A is locked to the disk B by a spring plunger H, and the support C by a similar plunger J. Cam-devices operated by hand-levers F, G are provided for the withdrawal of the plungers. The training is limited, in known manner, by a pin L on the upper carriage D moving between two adjustable stops K, K' in the support C.
