Vaporizing-apparatus. - In inverted vapour burners in which a heat conductor g passes downwards from the vaporizer a and also upwards to the vapour tube b leading to the nozzle of the mixing- tube e, the conductor is shaped to fit the tube b<1> depending from the vaporizer and to extend with a reduced part through the vapour tube b. According to a modification, the wide portion of the conductor may be integral with the vapour tube, the narrow portion being formed as a separate rod.
