Presses. - A press for wearing-apparel comprises two boards the pressure between which is adjusted by means of steel bands c, racks h, and a lever f provided with projections g adapted to engage various portions of the rack. In a modification shown in Fig. 3, each band is provided with a small lever j adapted to engage a double rack i. The tension in the bands is increased by turning the levers over after the projections on them engage the racks.
