Abstract
2763. Arnold, H. J. Feb. 3. Combined presses and stretchers. - Notched lugs b, Fig. 3, are secured to the baseboard of a trouser press and engage the edges of slots in cross-straps h, e. The straps e connect the two upper boards d, d<1>. They are secured to the board d at one end, and their other ends normally stand away from the board d<1>, on to which, however, they may be pressed and locked by serrated lugs j pivoted to the board d<1>. In a modification, the lugs b are slotted to receive necked extensions on the upper boards. A pivoted stretcher board is provided at one end.
