Flooring-blocks.-A hollow-block floor with reinforcing-bars in the joints, and in which the hollows of adjacent blocks are at right-angles to each other, is provided with metal or other plates 13, which close the ends of the blocks and form channels with the plain sides for the concrete filling. The plates 13 are in pairs, and engage an opening 12<b> in each block, but each pair of plates may be replaced by a single piece of metallic fabric, and the openings 12<b> may be omitted. A central projection 21 with or without an opening 21<a> may be formed on each block.
