Abstract

Fuel; composition fuel. - A collapsible firelighter consists of a four-walled structure of cardboard, leather - board, or similar material having two opposite walls corrugated vertically, and a number of corrugated strips extending between the two flat walls. In the form shown, pairs of strips 3, 5 are slit so as to interlock, and are connected to the walls by adhesive or other means. The walls extend below the strips, the front being cut away to provide space for air and paper. In a modification, the front wall stops short of, or only just reaches to, the bottom of the strips; or all the walls may be of equal height. The fire-lighter may be treated or provided with an igniting-substance, and may be tied up for storing.
