Abstract
18,160. Aggladfabriken Baltic. Aug. 12, 1905, [date applied for under Patents Act, 1901]. Folding cardboard boxes; boxes for eggs.-A collapsible cellular case for eggs, fruit, &c. is made up from pasteboard plates a, a<1>, cut with slits in the manner shown in Figs. 1 and 2, the end or corner hooks e<1> being made short, as shown. The plates when set up and interlocked produce a cellular casing of the form shown in Fig. 3. This can be folded together diagonally in known manner, and then, by moving two opposite corners in opposite directions, the parts slide over each other without fouling until they form a flat rectangular plate, as shown in Fig. 5, which may be easily packed with others.
