Abstract

10,456. Nielsen, H. April 29. Cow-milkers.-A teat-cup is fitted with a pulsator operated by the suction applied to the cup through the connector d, Fig. 2. This connector is attached to the cup by a bayonetjoint which compresses a packing-ring f between flanges on the connector and cup. The outer chamber communicates with the connector through a small orifice h. By means of the screw-thread i a casing j, Fig. 4, is attached containing the rotary pulsator valve which admits air intermittently through the passage v and is operated by a turbine n driven by a jet of air admitted through a nozzle in the casing. A stripping action is produced bv giving the lining b greater dimensions towards the lower end. A mouthpiece a is fitted.
