Fluids, regulating volume of flow of.-Relates to apparatus for drawing-off liquor from mashtuns and other vessels provided with false bottoms on which the goods rest, and of the type in which an adjustable overflow pipe is kept at a constant distance below the liquid level in the tank. The overflow pipe e is counterbalanced by a weight j, and is moved by a float g working in a pocket h separated from the main vessel by a perforated plate h<1>. The pipe e slides through a packing l in a tube d provided with a draw-off cock m and connected to the space below the false bottom by a pipe c.
