Fluids, regulating volume of flow of.-In apparatus, particularly applicable for adding reagent to water, and comprising one or more vessels b in which the reagent is maintained at a constant level by means of a ball float, and from which it is discharged through a movable slotted tube or cylinder k, connected by a lever h to a float f in the crude water vessel a, the liquid is discharged from the vessel a through a slotted pipe d, to which the liquid from the cylinder k is also delivered through a flexible pipe m. The proportions of the liquids discharged through the pipe d and cylinder k are regulated by means of slotted sleeves which cover the pipe and cylinder respectively.
