Abstract

6574. Mermet, C. Croizat-. Sept. 15, 1910. Puttees. - The upper end of a puttee A is narrowed at D, and has fixed to it a strap E, which terminates in an elastic fastening strap F. When the puttee has been wound round the leg, the button &c. G is engaged with the complementary fastening G<1>, Fig. 1, as shown in Fig. 2, after which the part E is turned down over the strap F so as to hide it, and secured in that position by engaging the two fastening members H, H<1>. That side of the strap E that is outermost in wear is crimped &c. so as to present the appearance of a stocking top.
