Hall lanterns.-Angular globes &c. are builtup of a number of independent glass panels c, d, c, &c., suspended, as by rings h, from a part f of the burner-fitting above the burner g. In the form shown in Fig. 2, the panels hang vertically, and, in the form shown in Fig. 8, the panels are of triangular shape and are connected by rings j at their lower extremities to form a globe of inverted pyramidal form. The meeting edges of the panels may be bevelled.
