Moving-container apparatus.-A rotary mixer of the type in which blades throw the material lengthways towards and from the centre in crossing showers is provided with inclined blades attached to the wall of the drum parallel to the axis. The blades d throw the materials lengthways and the inclined blades c are connected to the shaft by V-shaped spokes c'. The drum is provided with openings e of the type constructed so as to empty the drum when its motion is reversed.
