Vehicle windows.-The sashes a are mounted to slide in auxiliary sliding frames comprising channelled side bars d and tubular bottom bars e, pins f on these frames sliding in grooves k in the door-wells. The sashes are provided with stops g, which engage projections on the side bars d so that the auxiliary frames, after the sashes have been lifted some distance, are drawn up with the sashes. Projecting bars e on the sashes engage weather-rails h, and springs are fitted on the sashes to bear against the side bars d.
