Chimneys.-A system for improving the ventilation and chimney draught in dwelling-houses comprises outlet bends 1 and ducts 8 placed near the ceilings 6 of the apartments, and other bends 10 placed in the four sides of the stack so as to catch the wind. Caps 4 of wire gauze &c. are placed over the bends 1.
