Plates, securing pipes to.-In piston cooling- means of the sliding-pipe type, the pipe A is secured to the bracket D in such a manner as to allow for want of alinement. A collar B is secured on the end of the pipe, and is held in a recess beneath the stuffing-box C, which contains a rubber ring or collar. Clearance spaces K, J, I are provided between the pipe and the adjacent parts.
