Abstract

19,007. Squadrilli, E. Aug. 12. Valveless pumps; hand pumps.-An apparatus for delivering measured quantities of soap &c. consists of a reservoir a connected to a hollow horizontal bracket-arm b, within which slides a hollow piston f operated by a push-piece f<2>. The hollow piston has two openings o, o<2>, which are arranged so that, in one position, liquid passes into the piston, and, when the piston is pushed inwards against a spring f<9>, the liquid is ejected through an opening o<3> and the outlet pipe d'. Rotation of the piston in the bracket-arm is prevented by forming a groove in the piston to engage a stud in the bracket-arm. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 19,370<A>/90, 1865/04, and 18,844/05, [all in Class 106, Registering &c.], and 25,047/09, [Class 106 (v), Measured quantities &c.].
